Making an Impact,
One Chaptr at a Time

Community service has been part of my story since I was six years old. From delivering newspapers to neighbors' doorsteps to raising tens of thousands for student support, I believe in showing up and making a difference.

Years of Service

Early Foundations

Neighborhood Newspaper

Starting at age 6, I'd ride my bike around the neighborhood bringing newspapers from the end of driveways to front doors—a small gesture that taught me the value of service.

Boy Scouts & Holiday Express

I volunteered at Lunch Break food bank stocking shelves and serving neighbors. Every Christmas, I helped assemble gift bags with toiletries, gloves, and socks—often the only gifts recipients would receive that season.

Reach Workshop Mission Trips

I participated in week-long missions along the East Coast rebuilding homes: painting, constructing handicap ramps, and re-roofing trailer homes for families in need.

College & Beyond

Scholarship

I partnered with Phi Delta Theta alumni to create a $10,000 scholarship fund, enabling members to attend leadership conferences each semester. Achieved 100% alumni participation by spring 2022.

Niner Nation Gives

I've been an ambassador for this annual 49-hour giving campaign for UNC Charlotte, supporting emergency housing, the campus pantry, and student relief:

2019: Raised $4,500 in one night for education scholarships

2021: $6,000+ with 250 gifts supporting emergency housing, campus pantry, and student relief

2022: Created custom Swag Boxes—sold out all 50 to raise $1,500

Giving Tuesday

I led several initiatives to support the UNC Charlotte campus community:

2020: Raised $6,000 during the pandemic to stock the campus pantry with essential items

2021: Organized the first One Movement Holiday Celebration featuring silent auction, live music, and the Davidson vs. Charlotte basketball game—raised over $27,000

2022: Partnered with the alumni association for a watch party that raised $2,000+ with 50 gifts unlocking a $1,000 challenge match

Check-In Movement

I joined forces with founder Robert Brendle to promote mental health awareness through the simple act of checking in on friends and family.

June 2022: Hosted 3K walk/run in Camp North End, raising $3,000+ for Right Moves For Youth

Previous year: $10,000 raised for Thompson Child & Family Focus

Sanibel Strong

When Hurricane Ian devastated our beloved Sanibel Island in September 2022, I created Sanibel Strong shirts through One Chaptr to support recovery efforts. We raised over $9,300 from shirt purchases, and all proceeds went directly to six charitable organizations on the island helping the community rebuild.

NC Strong

When Hurricane Helene hit, I designed and produced NC Strong shirts through One Chaptr to support relief efforts. Our civilian group was on the ground from day one. Through shirt sales and donations, we raised over $23,000 and coordinated deliveries of essential goods directly to friends in western North Carolina.
